How the method works

  1. Define the acceptance boundary for the finished product, not only the input specification.
  2. Map the process, material, packaging, release, storage, and channel conditions that can move the outcome outside that boundary.
  3. Compare the next manufacturing node against the relevant mechanical, thermal, timing, and handling conditions.
  4. Set decision gates for trials, change control, release, and continuity before throughput pressure becomes the decision-maker.

TPI boundary

Thermodynamic Parity Index (TPI) is a physical engineering diagnostic index used where thermal, mechanical, or process-stress conditions are material to the scale-up question. It tests whether relevant upstream stresses remain aligned with the physical tolerances required at the next manufacturing node. It is not a general logistics, financial, or supplier-scoring label.
